The late Frank Zappa does not appear in person on the Zappa Plays Zappa record. It is completely inaccurate to tag this music as Dweezil Zappa and he would be the first to admit it. The genius that is Frank Zappa does come through the fingers of Dweezil and Steve Vai and Warren and ... all that read those notes.
Zappa Plays Zappa is a concert like Beethoven if he had a demigod son like Dweezil. Frank Zappa is quite simply one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century if not the finest.

A comment was posted about a perceived bias on hiring of minorities in fire departments. It suggests privitization / austerity for fire departments.
My father was a fire fighter for a time after his first hitch in the Air Force. This is probably the bravest thing he has ever done in his life.
I support a review of hiring and promotions in towns where a disproportionate number of whites hold these positions.
I am not willing to support the demonization of all fire departments for the actions of a few. Handing war over to mercenaries is as bad an idea as privitizing social services like police and fire.
Profit becomes a demon when put on the scale of social justice with the righteousness of brave men and women who strive to save lives and protect property.
